I've been in love with learning since I can remember. A good book makes my day and classrooms find me giddy. So nerdy, right? I'm also a firm believer a woman's education is her best asset and beholds the power to transform her life and the world. This is true across the globe, and here at home.
Just kidding! I've never been a model, but I know what it's like to be a woman who wants to be beautiful and love her body. Since this is the only body I get, you'll find me practicing good nutrition and showing up for sweaty workouts even when I'm not in the mood (keepin' it real).
I'm compelled by the desire to explore - in my own life and in the world. A longing for global adventure finds me curious and captivated by new experiences, grateful to be touched and taught by cultural difference. As I travel within, I'm equally drawn to the awe and discovery of my own development - surveying the unknown, engaging the challenges that arise, and befriending the new spaces I find. I'm honored to help you do the same.
I indulge in dark chocolate every day. Some might say it's an addiction. I say it's good self-care. My love of chocolate seeks to buy fair-trade and slave-free. I'm passionate about working to end human trafficking. Whatever your charitable cause, I believe the world will be better because our hearts are broken on behalf of the hurting and challenged to create a more compassionate and just world.
No, not the superhero. Though, I'm convinced we girls and women are full of our own superpowers to discover. I'm simply a woman who wonders how she become so lucky. I have one of the best jobs on the planet, enjoying the honor and privilege of meeting with some of the most extraordinary souls in the world - trust me, you are. I adore my place in the lives of young women, and I hope you'll feel that truth when we're together.
